March 6, 2017 was definitely a game changer of a day for our family. When the dust settled (and there was a lot of it!) we were down 3 homes, our office, a barn, machinery shed, hay shed, other out buildings, 100+ miles of fence and probably toughest of all 4 horses, a donkey, our ranch dog Zoey and many, many cows and calves.
But the outpouring of love and support that came in the days, weeks and months to follow are what encouraged us, gave us hope and made us want to be better, more giving people. Words cannot express the gratitude that we have for each act of kindness that came our way. From day 1 we were surrounded by the best of the best kind of people. We made new friendships and reconnected with many friends from the past.
As we looked back at pictures we’ve taken since that day we sure have had a lot of good days! Our kids enjoyed summer baseball, 4-H, swimming lessons, bucket calves and time in the saddle. Jenny & Shane’s home is being built, Katie and Brett hope to break ground in the next month, and Molly and CJ hope to start by fall. Our office will hopefully begin soon as well. We are over halfway done replacing fence.
Thank you seems like an inadequate word to describe our gratitude but THANK YOU for your support along the way!
